To make sure the 2011 Census includes everyone, we need your help to get our message across to as many people as possible in the community.We're asking for just one page on your website where you can publish our logo and a link back to us, along with some brief information about the census: what it is, why we have it, why it matters and how it benefits the people who live and work in your area.
The more local authority .gov.uk domain names that link to the 2011 Census site, the higher we go in search engine rankings, the more visible we become to the general public - and the more chances we have to get people involved and taking part.
To make sure we are all delivering a consistent set of messages, we’ve prepared a sample page for you to download and edit to match your own house style. A communications toolkit is also available to help local authorities spread the word about 2011 Census in their communities.
