Census Liaison Managers
Local authority census liaison managers (CLMs) and assistants (ACLMs) will be instrumental in taking the census to the public. We would like your help in explaining to people why the census matters to them and to encourage and help them to take part. We will keep you informed of progress during the run-up to Census Day through our census regional champions (CRCs) and, from August 2010, also through your census area manager. Further help is provided in our CLM/ACLM Guide which you can download from this site.
Your role as CLM will be to explain to senior management how they can help make the 2011 Census a success and co-ordinate census activities across the authority.
Your role as ACLM will be to handle the day-to-day running of your authority’s census operations, working closely with your CLM, communications team, LLPG custodian, census area manager and CRC.
