Census Coverage Survey Team Managers
From 4 January 2011, we will be recruiting census coverage survey (CCS) team managers on fixed-term contracts (3 May 2011 – 9 June 2011). CCS team managers will be responsible for managing fieldwork in a designated area of up to 1,000 households. They will be responsible for training and managing a team of up to 18 CCS interviewers, making sure they complete the fieldwork to specification and to a timetable. The emphasis will be on ensuring complete coverage of the residential population, maximising response in the area and supporting and motivating their team. CCS team managers will be responsible for ensuring the health and welfare of operational field staff, and dealing with dismissal, disciplinary and grievance procedures. They will also be required to carry out interviews in communal establishments and arrange interpretation where required.You can download an information pack below which provides a general overview of the recruitment process.
