Census Coordinators
From 20 September 2010, we will be recruiting census coordinators on fixed-term contracts (7 February 2011 – 20 May 2011). They will be responsible for coordinating the 2011 Census operation in a specific area, and managing a team of up to 15 field staff. The emphasis will be on ensuring complete coverage of the residential population, establishing links with local community groups in order to maximise response, and supporting and motivating their team. Census co ordinators will be responsible for ensuring the health and welfare of operational field staff, and includes dealing with dismissal, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
